Members are needed to help the society fulfill its objectives by volunteering on one of the numerous committees that originate, organize and implement the society's programs.

Members recieve a newsletter listing society activities and other upcoming events of interest. Membership cards entitle members to a ten percent discount on all non-textbook purchaes at Bill's Bookstore, Bill's II, Bill's Art City and the Museum Shop.

Ten dollars of the dues is set aside for member benefits, with the rest going to support society activities. Since the society is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, the portion of dues in excess of the ten dollars for benefits is deductible for federal income tax purposes.
