What is Tallahassee Scientific Society?

The Tallahassee Scientific Society is a group of laypersons, scientists, engineers and educators dedicated to increasing scientific literacy in the Big Bend area. The society's three main goals are:

To improve public awareness and knowledge of science and science-related issues.
To enhance the teaching and learning of science at all levels of the school system.
To provide a forum in which scientist, engineers, technologists and others can exchange ideas.
